Qontaktly started because the people running boutique hotels, hostels, and guesthouses in our region deserved software that actually understood how they work, not an enterprise tool translated from English and priced for New York.
Our story
Qontaktly began as an internal tool. The team had been running properties in Bali and Bangkok, juggling four different apps just to keep up with guest messages, channel updates, and housekeeping.
Every PMS on the market either charged $17 to $29 per unit (unaffordable for a 30-room hostel) or was missing the fundamentals like WhatsApp messaging and a commission-free booking engine.
We built our own. Other operators asked for it. Now it runs properties across Southeast Asia and ships new features every week.
